THE HALL IS A NO SMOKING AREA

THE LOBBY

There is a rail with hangers for coats.
There are two toilets; one is equipped for disabled people. 

THE HALL

The Hall measures 35 ft x 18ft (10.7m x 5.5m) and can accommodate a maximum of 60 people.

A central power point in the floor provides access for a computer or a projector; the wall can be used as a screen.  There is a projector stand in the store room but no computer or projector is available.  
The curtains are ‘blackout’.  The lights can be turned on/off from the kitchen or the lobby.
The floor covering is carpet tiles.
The heating is highly effective.  To regulate the temperature please turn the heaters on or off with the main switch.  Do NOT adjust the settings.

Furniture:
In the storeroom there are:
  • 60 chairs 
  • 6 round tables ( 5ft /152cm diameter), which can seat up to 9 people each 
  • 7 rectangular tables (30 x 36 inches / 76 x 91.5 cm)  Seat 4 
  • 2 long tables (72 x 19 inches / 183 x 48cm)  

In the kitchen there are:
  • a larder fridge
  • two kettles and a small urn
  • a domestic size cooker together with two microwaves
  • ample working surface for preparing food



THE KITCHEN

In the cupboard to the left of the sink there are 60 green cups, 102 saucers, 66 tea plates and 10 dinner plates
In the cupboard next to the cooker there are 60 white cups and saucers and various dishes and plates for serving  biscuits, etc.

There are two large metal tea/coffee pots in the corner cupboard 
There is also a large water heater to provide for washing-up.

There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen and another in the hall.  These are serviced regularly. 

The garden is safe for children but they should be supervised.

The Hall is NOT suitable for Bouncy Castles.




    SAFETY MEASURES:  NO SMOKING ON THE PREMISES.  The HIRER must ensure that all exit ways are maintained free from obstruction.  The HIRER must also ensure that at least one attendant is available to take whatever action is appropriate in the case of fire or panic, and to call the Fire Brigade in the event of fire (however minor).  The post code (SL9 9PD) is displayed on the door to the kitchen.  
Exit by the main door or the door in the kitchen (which is bolted on the inside).  

The kitchen may only be used for the preparation of teas and light refreshments, and any portable electrical equipment used on the premises must be protected by residual current devices.
